CocoWireless is an A2P 10DLC compliant, interactive text message service providing you with local weather and surf conditions upon request and is currently being adapted to provide Maui fire recovery information.
All services are currently free, but I invite feedback and or donations :)
Users will be able to opt in for notifications:
To opt in, simply text the topic of your choice [Surf, Weather, Alerts] and the frequency [Daily]. Upon opting in, you will receive a confirmation message indicating so.

For example:
User: “SURF DAILY”
CocoWireless: “Thank you for signing up for surf notifications! You will receive a daily text message at 6am summarizing the current state of surf. You may opt out at any time by replying, ‘SURF STOP’. Msg&Data Rates May Apply.”

You can cancel the text message service at any time; just reply with the category of notifications that you would like to unsubscribe from, followed by "stop". Once you send this message, you will receive a message to confirm your unsubscription. After this, you will no longer receive messages regarding that topic from CocoWireless. You can unsubscribe from all notifications at anytime by texting just, "STOP". If you want to resume getting responses to your messages, test "START".

CocoWireless: “You have successfully unsubscribed to surf notifications. Feel free to continue asking any questions you may have, and opt back in to notifications at any time! Msg&Data Rates May Apply."
User: "STOP"
CocoWireless: "You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."

To maintain the security of your personal information, do not share any personal or sensitive information through this text service.
Any discussion or language regarding CBD, cannabis, alcohol, firearms, gambling, tobacco, or other adult content is forbidden and will be blocked. Attempts to engage in these topics could result in the termination of your subscription.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. The frequency of messages depends on the service tier you've selected. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your phone service provider.
