About CocoWireless

CocoWireless started as a passion project, with the aim of offering friends and family accurate, timely, and easily accessible information. Drawing inspiration from the local "coconut wireless" idea, I initially imagined a local surf condition reporting service, combining forecasts, buoy readings, community reports, and insider knowledge to assist water enthusiasts in planning their activities. 

In light of the tragic wildfires on Maui, I decided to expand the information available to include the latest Maui County Press releases. This is meant to increase access to the latest information and resources provided by the county.

As a homegrown project, CocoWireless remains a labor of love. Please understand that while CocoWireless strives for accuracy, it is a one-person operation. I encourage you to exercise common sense and not rely exclusively on CocoWireless for critical decisions concerning your health or safety.
